Sexual enhancement with bromocriptine
Bromocriptine was the first dopaminergic medication I used for sexual enhancement. And indeed, bromocriptine can be a definite enhancement to the sex life, especially for a novice user. The main disadvantage of bromocriptine is that it works well for sexual enhancement for only 20 or 30 uses. After just the third use, the effects begin to wear off.
Unfortunately, increasing the dose to compensate for the wear-off effect does not work well with bromocriptine. Higher doses of bromocriptine are likely to cause nausea… a side effect bromocriptine shares with all dopaminergic drugs.
