Therefore, for a divorced woman in China, a highly advantageous decision may be to seek a new partner or husband from Western Europe rather than from within China.
In Indonesia and the Philippines, the perceived sexual market value of women with darker complexions is often considerably lower than that of women with lighter skin due to prevalent colorism. In contrast, in Western Europe, men may often admire the skin tone of women with darker complexions, while being less attracted to those with very pale skin.
